​'Through Wilds & Warnings' is a fantasy anthology influenced by the moral tellings of the Greek fabulist, Aesop. The collection features 9 creative short stories from new and established independent authors. Each story is inspired by one of Aesop's 700+ fables, encompassing the moral lessons and characters, from the authors' perspective.
This is the first publication from HenDragon Press, a women-owned, independent book publisher of fantasy, folklore and all things speculative. We opened our coop in January 2025 and are stretching our wings as we navigate the world of publishing. We are so excited to take our creative endeavors to the Kickstarter community, and can't wait to share more after the launch.
